Must admit I really miss Chin and Koko though and am upset they're gone. Love Steve, Danny, Grover, love each and every one of the cast. When I am away from home, I always watch an episode or two when I get homesick. . I think this last season was the best in a couple of years. This show keeps getting better and better every season. But these are minor dings, it's intriguing and fun.
Then they let Grace and Daniel go - how freaking stupid!!! Lots of gunfire, pretty unrealistic, they wouldn't be having all-out gunfights in populated public places. Actors are good to very good, keeps your interest and good human interaction in the man-on-the-street scenes. I've watched from the beginning and it just gets better every season. It's not the same without them but as long as there's Steve and Danny I'll watch. When you get down to it, they played more of a prominent part in recent years than Danno. I love this show and the actors, especially Alex O'Loughlin!! McGarrett and Five-0 once again become entangled in the twisted mind games of serial killer Dr. Now rumor has it that the radiation sickness of Steve will be his excuse to leave at the end of Season 8 which typically means the end of the series - So Sad! Good action, story lines are quite varied which keeps it interesting.
Even though some of the episodes border on unrealistic for Hawaii today, the scenery and usage of typical local dialect are always quite classic and surprising in every episode. I hope it goes on for many more seasons, but I fear they'll end it like they do every really good show. I never get tired of watching 5-0. Love, love, love this show. The Steve and Danno bromance was getting really old, and the more recent roles that Grace and Daniel had nicely made up the difference. I guess it counts if you mention their name during an episode.
Well, I made it and have a sincere fondness for the Islands and Peoples. Some of the technical details could use additional behind the scenes expertise to convey in a less brushed over and contrite manner. . . .
