The best way to diagnose this is with a scan tool , factory or a professional type. Then after a few seconds, it goes to normal. The wire going from the fuse to the instrument cluster is red and yellow and the wire between the cluster and the alternator is lite green and red. Tachometer will indicate present rpm.
