I also sent a note to Via asking about updated drivers. It this what you used to for sound settings? I selected that and the fix still worked. It worked fine on Windows 8. When I uninstall and deactivate the audio component in the bios, Windows stability returns. What do you show in the Device Manager, for the audio?
