Cons: Unfortunately, there is something in the design language of this software that just leaves me feeling confused. Cons i haven't experienced a single one. Load balancing on my Laptop and updates 3. The annotation functions work exceptionally well also, although with the version I use, Note and Comment were not consistently named if you used a right click vs the pop up menu when you select text, and it confused the users a bit. There will be plenty of editing tools that you can use to edit the document — from appending or deleting pages to inserting pictures and adding watermarks.
Further, you have option to sign documents, set passwords etc. Friendly, knowledgeable, and persistent staff. Supports Citrix, Microsoft App-V and Windows Server network deployment. And I love the uncluttered, easy to use interface. I can even put security on them so they cannot alter my documents without a password. Volume licensing is available for large organizations.
Vendor Response by Nuance on November 09, 2018 Hi Lindsey - thanks for the review! Otherwise, we have not yet run into anything we didn't like or didn't work as expected. Even users without much experience will be able to figure out most functions as a lot of the basic daily functions are one-click. On top of the expected annotation and markup tools—highlighting, notes, drawing tools, etc. In those situations, Adobe reader had to be installed on the desktop. Cons Converted a pdf to to a docx, but converted file was corrupt and could not be opened. Cons: That it doesn't have the ability to do more modifications to a document.
Apart from in-document editing of text and other content, you have a great range of conversion features. Apply Bates stamping to a single document or a complete set of documents. As a whole, Adobe Acrobat Pro is just awesome, we bet. Connect to popular enterprise document management systems such as SharePoint and NetDocuments. Pros: Stable software that works every time and integrates well with other software.
Cons: It has the same issue as other pdf converters: if the pdf has been signed or have a watermark it messes up the conversion in the word document, I would love if you could select an area to skip. It also integrates very well with our firm's document management system. From the tab, you will find an array of tools to annotate your document. Cons: A bit of a learning curve. Even though I can usually do all the things I need to do in this product, it can sometimes take a while to work out how. It allows us to work on a document without the need of the source document, and if that weren't enough it allows the conversion of pdf documents into docs and xls which can be life saving in several situations.
Pros: The price and features for this software is what attracted me to it in the first place, and yet my users have told me they really like having it available for pdf editing. Users pickup using it pretty quickly, which is good for me. Hopefully this has been resolved in the latest version. Cons Would be nice if you could do at least some basic editing with it. Cons installation was long and it made too much registry entries and installed some idiotic 'software updater' without asking during setup which wanted to update it after installation. Take advantage of cloud connectivity to popular services such as Box, Evernote, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. If needed, you now have the capability to turn JavaScript on easily during the installation process.
Cons I tried to uninstall it in the same manner that I have sucessfully uninstalled hundreds of programs in the past. I have used for many years and the price point is great! It works amazing for conversions and pdf editing. Comes with customization kit for more flexible configuration. There is plenty of editing and commenting tools for you to add, delete and edit texts, change fonts, insert images, add and delete pages, as well as insert and delete watermarks. I comes with a good range of features, and I think you'll be surprised by the wide range of things that it can do.
Just follow these four steps: Step 1. Most of them were using the product with little or no training. Cons: It did conflict with the file management software in place until the bugs were worked out in, I believe, version 2. Overall: Our work requires us to obtain documents in multiple formats, document the purpose on the face of these documents, annotate significant part of these, combine files for use within our workpapers and present a single file for end review. Redact sensitive information from documents.
