If you like a character, just look for episodes tagged with that character and watch them regardless of if they're recommended or not. Starlight, Trixie, Thorax, Discord, and Chrysalis were the finale's biggest highlights worth writing home about, in my opinion. Those parts were actually my favourites along with some of the babysitting stuff, which cracked me up , whereas the storm stuff felt a bit limp to me.
