If you want to see a nice little family film that everyone in the house can have some fun with, I recommend this new Mickey Mouse movie to you and yours with full enthusiasm. Taking classic music from the era and adding words and lyrics to them works. It is excellent for kids and adults will actually be able to giggle at some parts and enjoy it, especially since it is reminiscent of old Disney cartoons. Pete is happy to become the King and the Opera begins. I am sick and tired of your screw-ups. This is my favourite version.
Mickey gives him advice that he will be on his side and that when he went to warn him, it took courage. However, the thing to bother is that why that last one wasn't released in theaters worldwide instead of that shy, or embarrassed, V release?! The story follows the classic tale of a damsel in distress, which makes it both predictable and lacking in female empowerment messages. And, of course, my songs. But today is the day, right, monsieur? Disney was strictly kids fare. The movie opens with a narrating turtle where our three aspiring heroes plus Pluto are street urchins robbed by masked bandits and saved by the Royal Musketeers who they now want to emulate. Goofy fails to convince Donald to help him save Mickey, but thanks to a ridiculing song from Troubadour, this makes Donald angry and he changes his ways. I'll be a musketeer when cows fall from the sky.
In my opinion, like the title of this review states, it's dull as dishwater. Well, there's three things wrong with that. So, to save the Princess and the Kingdom, our three will have to grow up and act quickly. They work as janitors in the palace, dreaming of becoming musketeers but each have flaws. And I don't believe in doing it twice. The film has good songs and the first song, I guess it is called The Musketeer Song is a fun little ditty.
Who's gonna tell the bloomin' boss the bad news? Set dresser to the stage. I'll be your bodyguard tonight, sweet cheeks. We thought she was a villain. Sometimes, they don't try to be subtle. Another thing I admired was how good the animation was.
The chemistry between Donald Duck and Daisy Duck is absolutely nonexistent, making their finale together even more useless. How's this for a doofus? Heck if I know, but with a series of lackluster productions that tried to bring fast paced humor and slapstick to the movie theatres and home video markets, it wasn't hard to see that it seemed like the folks at Disney were grasping at straws. Although, the film could have done with being 5 to 10 minutes longer. Pluto uses his nose to smell where Minnie and Daisy are. I'm in such a good mood.
A nice Disney production with the Big 3 Mickey, Donald and Goofy taking the leads, interestingly Pete reprises his peg-leg from the olden days. I think he's coming out of it. The bridge crumbles and Goofy and Clarabelle fall to the river below. From that day on, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. This hour-long direct-to-video 'toon features longtime Disney favorites Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto, as well as Peg-Leg Pete and even Clarabelle Cow. These are characters that know they are cartoons and that some of the things that happen in the cartoons are bizarre. The film is fast-paced and cartoony, with lots of gags to keep kids' attention.
Much mayhem ensues, but the loyal and earnest trio perseveres, learning to be brave, use their brains, and help one another out. Hey, my lucky musketeer hat. The voice acting is great and the songs are clever. And I'll know he's the one when he makes me laugh. So, what do you say? Could this be the end of the three musketeers? The characters are put together really well for the story, especially Mickey and Minnie gee, they make a cute couple, don't you think? Hey, Goof, this door won't budge! A lesser director would have done it comic-strip style, cutting from Pete to the Musketeers, then back to Pete, then the Musketeers, and so forth.
This movie is based on the old story of the 3 musketeers and Mickey, Donald and Goofy are those musketeers. I feel like eating a snail. Pete gives a chance to the Beagle Boys to kidnap Minnie and Daisy, so he can become King tomorrow when he is announced at the Opera. You sure are talking funny. And at the other hand, this innocence and simplicity are forever. A romantic princess deserves a romantic song, no? For some reason, Donald kept turning into a chicken.
