Whereas other electric pianos at the time were actually electro-magnetic, using tines hit by hammers that were amplified by pickups, the Electra-Piano's sound was generated electronically with oscillators. There are two principal sculpting controls, Attack and Sustain. I think they did this to demo how well their microphones capture drum sounds. It's signature sound has shown up on hundreds of albums from the Beatles to Beck and has spanned decades of musical changes without ever going out of style. Released 1978 Crumar was an Italian company that started out manufacturing electric pianos and string synthesizers, finally combining the two in 1977 with the Multiman, also known as Orchestrator. The output from each Bus returns just before the main instrument insert effects by default, but there is also an option to bypass those insert effects, keeping any Bus you choose and its own effects entirely separate from the main effects.

I also had a Hammond B-3 and Leslie along with a Rhodes 88. In fact, if you have your vinyl copy, you can see Mike playing the M-300 inside photo on the liner jacket. Extra cartridges will be available with 100 sounds each. However, I didn't observe any obvious change in pitch behaviour, as alluded to in the documentation. It scored high on sound — especially the strings — and had a wonderfully lush phaser effect, but build quality was flimsy and the usability was poor — issues not shared by the virtual version. Its cabinet was covered in wrinkled black vinyl.
Chamberlin had produced many versions of this instrument, the crowning touch was one model with four keyboards and a set of bass pedals. The first approach focuses on taking an existing preset, and tweaking it to reflect the quirks and characteristics of a Mellotron. Because of their age, working Mellotrons are becoming increasingly rare. Small, playable shop bell for Kontakt 5. Consequently, it should be applied either as a main Instrument insert effect, or an Instrument Bus effect, where it works perfectly. The Chroma dispensed with the Moog-style knobs and buttons in favor of sleek membrane push-buttons, which limited its real-time tweaking potential, but that was not really what the Chroma was made for — it was a player's instrument. One will be a custom model, in memory of Les Bradley, who, sadly passed away last year. This is a collection of samples and their matching. It also includes the even wimpier-sounding but widely loved Chamberlin, plus the Orchestron, and the even nastier-sounding Novatron and Optigan and something called the Stylophone.

Here's a free one that I like a lot: it has 2 seperate channels available for mixing choirs strings etc. Jonbouy M-Tron is a bit too lovely for my tastes it doesn't sound scratchy and 'orrible enough. So much so, it captivated me Jerry at age 13. Dre, Giorgio Moroder, Jean-Jacques Perrey, Radiohead, Rick Rubin, Stereolab and The Neptunes. The second method uses actual free samples of a Mellotron.
Now the entire Bus's level and pan can be controlled easily from its own controls. It is solely our own product and has features rarely seen in today's keyboards. How great it is to be able to actually write to a childhood idol to thank you for the enormous joy you have given us over the years. The model 400 was my first Mellotron, which I purchased new in 1973, when I was 19. Once all the snare's Groups have been identified and selected for editing, simply route them to an Instrument Bus. Each of the 16 Buses also has slots for eight insert effects, so you only need to add a single compressor to the snare Bus, for example, to process all its articulations.
The next model was the M-300, produced form 1968-70. Cajon free 4 velocity layer version and Pop Piano Free. I have always loved the sound of your mellotron. Something close - including the huffy-puffy-dirty-warble - would be awesome. Instruments like the Mellotron and the Chamberlin used note-by-note recordings of real world instruments on audio tape or disc-shaped media to allow musicians to easily and cheaply add previously big budget type sounds like orchestras and choirs to their own music. Upon identifying this instrument, I had Mike Pinder as a role model in my life.
Released 1984 The Pro One was a small monophonic synthesizer with a 3-octave keyboard. Pushing this down makes individual notes play randomly all over the stereo field. Not without any problems though. They are pure and unedited transfers with crackles, hum and some weird endings. I bought it for a laugh.
