I recently installed windows 10 in my computer, but i got a problem : my computer does not fully shutdown when i click the shut down button in the start menu, it just closes apps, screen turns black, but the pc is still on and i can say this because keyboards lights are still on power one, wifi one and i am forced to press the power button for 5 seconds to force a shutdown and then turn it on again. Right-click the Start menu and select the Shut down or sign out. This feature uses a subset of hibernation, and turning off the fast-boot might help. Driver Easy will then scan your computer and detect any problem drivers. I had to download fresh from realtek's website. I am left with a black screen and my power lights and backlit keyboard still on.

Yes, I have it to sleep when I close the lid. Click the Change settings that are currently unavailable to activate the Shutdown settings below. I have everything latest, updated, no viruses, turned off fast startup. I haven't tried this on my laptop as on windows 8. I tried to give it time to shut off itself, I gave two hours once but it didn't. If the Hard Drive Disk is not first in the order, Windows 10 may run into startup and shutdown problem. If I keep windows 10 then I am going to need to spend an incredible amount of time doing nothing but searching for solutions to problem I never had. These problems caused me to research mainly on answers. Plug them both back in and try if it shuts down normally now. But i noticed one interesting thing. I searched on internet some solutions and the most common problem seems related to the fast startup feature, i disabled it but the problem keeps going, i really don't know what to do, anyone has a solution for this?
