When airbenders are suddenly popping up across the world and causing more trouble for the city, President Raiko demands Korra to leave the city, which she takes as an opportunity to travel the world to find the new airbenders. It allows Korra to switch between four different elements on the fly, each with their own combat styles and special moves. Her lack of success strains her relationship with President Raiko and brings down her approval rate among the city's populace. She sneaks off the island and befriends two brothers, Mako and Bolin, who compete in professional bending matches as part of the Fire Ferret team. Meanwhile, Zaheer travels the four nations to free his fellow criminals from their prison. Tenzin, who witnesses Korra's performance, reluctantly allows Korra to continue Pro-bending and join the Fire Ferrets permanently.
