Service dealer claimed no problem found. WiFi is an awesome thing that you have in this vehicle because if you're still in school you can be in the vehicle submitting assignments. Original review: June 13, 2018 I like that it's a safe vehicle. Took it back next day and told have to drive for 2,000+ miles so the vehicle learns me and how I drive. They have had since Feb 22, 2018 almost a month now. The transmission would continually go between 5th and 6th gear.
I dislike the grill front and did not like the wheel size. Park again and go back in. Have 2100 miles on my new truck. The trans needs to be looked at internally for damage, pan drop will not allow you to see any potential hard parts problems. Pick up and does immediately in the dealership parking lot. I'm so angry I just wanna set the truck on fire and watch it die. I did crawl under the truck last night and verified the shift linkage is working properly and that there's no snow or ice jamming anything up.
Also has a lower sidewall in the bed. I called Chevrolet with no help. I didn't want to lemon my vehicle but at this point I have no other choice. There was extensive damage to the front of the vehicle. I applied brakes and truck shifted back to 5th gear. However, performance seems to be a tad more sluggish than typically kind of like the brakes are dragging just a hair. It is being replaced under warranty as we speak.
The police were alerted and a report was taken. The engine never switches from 8 cylinder mode. What if my wife drives it occasionally? I called my dealership and they have never heard of such a thing of course and of all things cannot get me in until next week. The failure mileage was 34,100 and current mileage was 37,000. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they advised that there were no failures and the vehicle was operating as designed. It has a power that yields according to the use. However, shortly after purchase I noticed when truck was rolling in gear transmission would shift into or out of gear very hard.
The truck has been great so far at 18500 miles. Take back to dealership again and told they have to reprogram and they need for a whole day to do this. Also, it's a huge vehicle so it's hard to back it into parking spaces. Must be removed and rebuilt. I've had nothing but problems with both vehicles.
Middle case: leak in the 2nd gear apply circuit servo assembly or 1-2 accumulator. I love everything else about the truck. I believe this was old problem. The failure began in December of 2007. All fluid pumped out through the vent tube: Plugged cooler line. All services have been done at the required frequency. I have also never been able to get the wireless charger in the console to work consistently, but apparently others do not have this problem.
It just yesterday started to Lurch forward just as it was about to rock to a stop. Unfortunately for me for my job I need to do just that. When driving below about 45 mph, it will lurch into 4 cylinder mode, lug for a second or so, and then lurch back into 8 cylinder mode. Unfortunately that did not solve all my problems. I suspect it would be really awesome in a lighter truck. For what it's worth for the past year or so the transmission was always slow to transition from reverse into drive about a 1. Gave a system service warning about the Had to shut off truck and then it would return to 2X.
Several trips to the dealer. I find I am always trying to open it after locking the truck, which locks the tailgate. Love the color and interior options. Drove a Crew Cab F 150, 4×4, 3. Is there anything else I should check before heading to the shop, or am I completely screwed? Have scheduled another appointment with them to see if they will actually do something about this. Worst case: poor line pressure rise see below. Anyone have any real data on using a programmer and what were your results? The truck simply came to a stop.
