The power window motors in these trucks are set up from the factory to close with a certain force, when in-channel vent visors are installed the window requires more force to completely close without bouncing back, thats where the retrain comes in, you have to retrain the windows to close with more force so they don't bounce back when closing the window. After performing one of the above procedures, the smart motor must be re-initialized, see Initialization Procedure. Open the window and try to close it automatically. Once complete they should close without bouncing back. I have never done the hold 2 seconds after it finnishes opening but it always resets. On the drive home I discovered the driver door window would no longer go up automatically.

Like numerous others I'm not about to take this car to the dealer to have them mess up my car by associating it with their service lot.
