Nilsa finally, she wins a competition! Kortni feels like she deserves a stable guy after the meth head Logan. Drunkni is full effect tonight! Kortni gives her side to and hopes after they get home everyone will be able to move forward. Aimee is not trying to deal with the crazy; she screams they better not set them back. Yep, you read that right. Honestly, if he never did one thing wrong, I would still advocate for a breakup, based on that name alone! That is sad, but I am glad she is finally being treated like the lady she is. Too bad that includes Gus inviting himself into her bed to sleep over. They both agree that the roommates have to just accept her, for who she is as a person.
Just when she was falling for him all over again, he gets snatched out from under her. . They end up getting kicked out of the No Name Lounge and unfortunately their night is kind of ruined. Nilsa discovers that Gus brought another girl home Kendra the night before, and her heart is breaking over it. Yet he proceeds to make his one night stand breakfast before giving her the boot. He needs to cut Nilsa off completely.
Everyone is out at the bar having drinks. Nilsa finds out about the date and gushes about how sweet the gesture is. On their drive, Aimee helps Nilsa to realize her worth as her own person, aka: no guy, no problem. When Nilsa and Aimee get back to the house, they continue on their day drinking: first margaritas, next is champagne. Gus complains about the lack of privacy and how he feels like he is doing a walk of shame. When the next day rolls around, Codi, Jeremiah, and Kortni go to their shift at Shore Dogs, where they find out about Bike Week. When Gus tries to be the nice guy again and make peace with Nilsa, it for whatever reason makes Kortni mad, so she heads to the bathroom with Candace to blow off some steam.
If not everyone, he is clearly sending a message to one person in particular,. Everyone gets in a cab and heads to the bar. She actually looks like she took a shower and put effort into her outfit. All jokes aside, they definitely know what they want out of Mexico: partying, partying, and you guessed it, more partying. Everyone in her life is against the relationship.
She puts the blame on herself again, which leaves her feeling unsafe and hurt. Wow, that has to be hard to hear from your parents. They end the night doing cannonballs and surf moves in the pool, having a grand time when the guys come home. Apparently with champagne comes no more clothes, because they are running all over the beach like crazy girls! In preparation for his guests, he gift wraps beer for his mother. I would agree if she was stable herself. While in the car, Nilsa cries as Aimee warns her not to pursue Gus after everything he has done. The roommates reassure her that things are going to be okay, but she needs to take the steps to protect herself from Logan.
Later, they head over to another bar for dancing and live music. She is obviously hurt because she wants to be loved, but is willing to let him go…at least for the night. Meanwhile, Codi prepares for his parents to come and visit. Nilsa does not want to hear what she has to say. Candace said it best: they can all be more aware of his sensitive side, instead of just calling him out for being that way. She finally decides to bite the bullet and call an unsuspecting Gator and cut the cord. Needless to say, he did not take it well.
To make matters worse, the next time her and Gus are together, his hookup from the club drops by, leaving Nilsa in disbelief. But how did he go from being the supportive brother to calling her names and acting like a douche bag? On a wild night at Ms. Gus ends up blasting out of the bar; while the rest of the house continues to party it up. The two of them chat up and hook up with randoms to according to the rest of the group! He finally opens up to everyone in the shore house about his problematic past with his parents, and everyone got closer because of it. Candace finally agrees to a date, thanks to his dad. Rather than a walk of shame, it seems as if he is leading a parade.
While those two are out brunching, the rest of the house goes out to eat and talk to Candace about how she needs to listen to the opinions of others regarding Gator. His father continues his inquisition now that his son is out of sight. He wants her to know how she should be treated and wants to invite her out for beer and wings. Nilsa feels like she may never find a good guy. Yes, there were tears, but there were also lots of cheers and celebration as each shore house member conquered it after the next. Second, what the hell does Gus have on? Can I just say, this is one of the cringiest scenes I have seen on this show.
I am kind of secretly hoping Nilsa uses this trip as a way to move on from Gus and his games. Will Nilsa and Gus finally get themselves together?
