Its like men and women are not involved unless it is something to accomplish with Lady gaga! I admit I was sceptical at first in reading about Final Destination. He and his French class are at an airport flying to Paris for a field trip with their teacher, Ms. Great film worth every dollar i spent to see it. If anything, this sequel proves that with new blood working behind the scenes can come a refreshing film. The story is about a kid named Alex Devon Sawa who just so happens to have a fear of flying. A few new aspects are thrown in as well which help keep the story fresh and not feel repetitive.
This is where the story gets interesting by getting off the plane Alex soon realizes that him and his friends have cheated Death and they have to figure out when death is coming back at them. But there were still some sequences that looked quite cheaply done though, akin to the quality of those made for television movies due to a smaller budget devoted to effects. It's just killing people using a Rube Goldberg device or a flying object in 3D. I have to say that this movie scared me and my parents good. Some of the death scenes are pretty creative and terrifying, but some of them seemed to have been forced.
Whereas the character's personalities are clear, we feel little remorse for many of them. Pretty much all of the deaths are given away in the previews, so when someone dies its no surprise whatsoever. Not only that but they cut away from what probably would have been the most visually interesting death. However, from the very beginning, I was impressed. Scared for his life, and the others on the plane, he cause a fuss which sees him and several other classmates chucked off the plane. Synopsis In this latest installment to the horror franchise, Sam and his friends manages to escape a ill-fated bridge, thanks to a premonition Sam obtained. Alex begins to trust that destiny is beginning to inflicting significant damage…. . Indeed, the first death scene is both funny and horrific all in one because, like with many of the deaths in this movie, it can really seem as that can actually happen. Very much improved visual effects here. He advises everybody to get off the doomed air ship.
It's no brainer, and if box office results this opening weekend prove to be stellar, then we should expect this franchise to develop some legs to keep going on. But when I heard about this fifth and final Final Destination, I decided to give it one more chance. Opening scene was one of the more intense and crazy. If they were to make a fifth film, they better put some thought into it. By taking away the surprise aspect the movie was ruined. When Alex has a horrific premonition about dying in plane crash, he freaks out and is kicked off the plane with five other students and teacher. The laziness is also extended to the death scenes.
He was seen in the first 2 and heard in the 3rd one. The film is so lazy that there are even glaring plot holes in the hackneyed script! But, I am very happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised by Final Destination 5. Although the plot is not original, however the antagonist is, Death itself. There is one beef I do have with Final Destination. Another problem about the death scenes is that there is barely any suspense when people are about to get killed.
It isn't groundbreaking but it is effectively chilly at times, the acting is surprisingly good and the plot is pretty fresh. He and several others exit the plane only to discover that it does in fact crash, but things take a shocking turn when the remaining survivors begin to die in the most mysterious ways. Even the clever foreshadowing from the previous films is quite blatant here. He gives a laughable and forced performance but that's nothing compared to Bobby Campo, who is easily the worst premonitionist in the franchise. I think it is safe to say every individual has different feelings about death.
I genuinely thought my favorite deadly franchise had finally bit the dust itself, and in a bad way. One thing for sure is, you will know it when you see the movie in August. Shortly after, the bridge collapses. You are actually told who is going to meet Death next. Obviously it will depend on your taste whether you like it or not, whether you consider it too teeny' or too teeny but just right anyway. I recommend you see this movie. I'm not going to spoil it for you.
In many films like this you are guessing who will be killed next. Because hey, I hadn't been to the theater in awhile and if it sucked I'd at least have a good laugh. However, now, every one of his companions is bafflingly being slaughtered by something that appears to the Grim Reaper. Not only do they have to worry about Death, but they also have to worry about what they are willing to do to survive, which provides some very tense external conflict between the characters. He can't act to save his life. Minutes after getting kicked off, and Alex is calm, the unexpected happens, the plane actually does explode.
Once on the plane Alex begins to experience a dream-like vision of the jet exploding in midair killing all of its passengers. In fact, the film is rushed altogether. Other than this one minor flaw, Final Destination is still a great and scary horror film. After a teenager has a terrifying vision of him and his friends dying in a plane crash, he prevents the accident only to have Death hunt them down, one by one. Before they set off, Alex has a hunch of the plane blasting into blazes minutes after take off. There is also a briefly creepy appearance by a mortician but is short-circuited by the plot.
