The valve was assembled incorrectly by our supplier and caused a gross air leak in low range. Thanks janboskit i spoke to a tech support guy from eaton automated products last week and he told me the same thing there is no solenoid its just the way the code was set by volvo but its the clutch itself. At these high torque levels even relatively minor contamination leads to significantly shorter bearing and gear life. To start engine turn key off and wait for the transmission to power down. These additional file downloads are required to support product security enhancements. Service Reports The Service Report features allows you to record service activities performed on a vehicle for future reference.
The fracture will result in the transmission remaining in 5th or 10th gear. Lubricant suppliers, including Chevron Texaco, were contacted early in 2005. This may have to be done several times before the transmission learns. This now affects the new sensors ability to give an accurate reading as it is affected by the magnet on the tone wheel. This could lead to a low lube failure. Get the guys to check for those and let me know what they find.
Not a valve or solenoid? For a smoother reinstallation of the clutch it is best to reset the clutch prior to reinstalling into the vehicle. I changed all four batteries all connectors are clean x-y shifter is changed so this is the last thing on the list. What usually happens is the sensor will crack and eventually break, normally logging a fault code 58. The most recent version is 54. A loose tone wheel will also give incorrect readings for the sensor.
I have a clutch solenoid valve code in the Diagnostics So, I need to replace my clutch? They are not my favorite dealership. Release parking brake and hold vehicle by using the brake pedal. So if its not poping somethings wrong. In the event the stack up allows for endplay between the bearing race and rear bearing cover, the result could be a broken output-bearing flange. This can happen even if -the engine brake dash switch is off. Sensor output signal, harness connector interface and 14142 O-ring are all interchangeable with current design sensors.
Most failures result in a failed synchronizer and are brought in with a raking complaint. Proper setting of each data link connection in ServiceRanger is required to ensure reliable and stable communication. I own a gearbox and differential company in South Africa and may be able to offer some advise on the problems you are experiencing. The funny thing is i just had one of my batteries explode just recently replaced the bad battery and all my trans problems went away. Kansas City Freightliner has replaced the ground harness and it's still happening!! Other times it gets stuck and won't reset even after disconnecting the batteries!! Engine may also be unresponsive to throttle input.
The magnet in the sensor comes out and lodges between two raised sections of the tone wheel. The truck has 678,000 miles. The countershaft journal can be. If the transmission is allowed to operate with a cracked cover a low lube failure could occur. Disconnecting the batteries made everything back to normal. Anyone out there with similar problems or has anyone replaced a clutch or a solenoid valve on a ultrashift transmission, how much does it cost and any good transmission shops you know of west of the Mississipi that will work on fully auto ultrashift. I see that several truckers have had this issue posted but didn't say how they fixed it.
The lock plate, bracket, and two screws, that hold the range valve in place, are replaced by two screws with conical washers. If no codes are active, the gear display will flash code 25 no codes. It got stuck and wouldnt get into gear. These complaints are shifting related, but vehicle systems can contribute to the concern. I just have to take some pills before i go though but i dont have any other choice.
The mater of fact is that this is just a code saying your clutch is bad apparently. When it's stuck in gear I pull over and let it sit for a while then the truck will reset and it will start and drive fine for a while. I got mid 130 sid 55 fmi 13 code or clutch solenoid valve out of calibration. Made it home 2200 miles with no issues except it was kind of bouncy taking off kind a like a clutch going bad would feel like. Whenever I am driving it there are times when it gets stuck in gear.
I have only allowed Freightliner dealers work on the vehicle and so far they are clueless as well!! The noise is more noticeable during servicing inside a building or service bay and when the clutch inspection cover is removed. So i hope this is gonna resolve my trany problems. I'd would change those sensors then. A one or two second pause separates each stored code, and the sequence automatically repeats after all codes have been flashed. Place the shift lever in neutral. External changes include a sensor body designed to minimize corrosion seizing and integrated retaining clip that will not distort the sensor when the retaining cap screw is tightened.
