Hello, I believe I am having a similar issue?! After connecting the Satellite receiver audio cables to satellite audio in on the amp-it worked. We use data about you for a number of purposes explained in the links below. The only thing I could come up with was that the Zones somehow had something to do with it - because I dimly recalled something about using zones and analog connections. Why is the X3200W much bigger in size compared to the X2200W? If at the first step, your receiver still shuts off, the problem is internal and will need to be serviced. You can have a 5. My apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but I wanted to put this out there for future google searchers. In addition, using the remote will allow you complete control of both zones independently regarding power, source, and volume.
And all the unplugged cables, remotes, batteries, etc lying around room. According to the manual, it appears that the 2nd zone can be set up to use a 2nd amplifier and use the Receiver as the volume control. It has to be a hiccup in the processing. After unplugging the power cord, take corrective action such as firmly re-twisting the core wire or taking care of the connector, and then reconnect the wire. You now only have a main room that can pnly have a 5. This only works if the sound is set to Variable in the Zone 2 Control.
To make sure it didn't happen again, I made sure to turn off Zone 2 and Zone 3. Then I should be set. Just wanted to check if there were any other ideas, and if anyone else has utilized the 1912's zone 2 playback. If you have a volume control on zone 2 speakers independent of the receiver, you need to pull it and check it as well for corrosion or shorts. As I initially explained, you can only output analogue sources to the second zone so only devices connected to your receiver via analogue inputs can be output to the second zone.
This turns off the second zone. There may be an audio delay and there's no assurance that zone 2 and the Main zone will be in sync with one another even if playing the same source. Zone 2 works using the Internet radio capabilities of the receiver so I believe that functionally it works. I don't have anything connected to Zone 2, and I think that represents the vast majority of users. To do it reliably you need an amp. The main room needs to be set up and configured as being 5. I program all my multi-zone systems this way.
I set source to main to tv audio for example and then set zone 2 output through the app also to tv audio. Everything else is already included in this command. The mode is intended to be used with all speakers located in the same zone and as one combined element though and not as a means by which to have multiple instance of two speakers outputting stereo audio in their own right. Again, both sources will play in Zone 2, just not simultaneously while the other source is playing in the main zone. I realize from the previous posts in this thread that I have to connect analog audio to the receiver for the sources that I want to use for Zone 2. I spoke with Denon tech support on the 1910 issue a couple years ago and they were not able to help.
Will there be no delay then when i also play the 5. Let me know if all works fine. You have not therefore configured the back amplification reassignment correctly or you are reassigning the amlification from being for the second zone back for use with back speakes. I think people that need Zone 2 support will add their own separate recipes that control that zone. Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.
All the best for a happy 2008, Richard One of the tricky thinkgs you need to be aware of is that you cannot distrubute a digital signal to the second zone. The issue was that i programmed Harmony One, and then setting up everything on X-4000 with original remote and turned it finally off with this original remote. What can I do to help debug this? Not being near a receiver right now, I can't tell you what I think that third setting is, though. From what I can tell, any one of your sources can be played on Zone 2, so you may have to change it to media player in order to get the sound from your satellite receiver. This is very unusual because I have to open a cabinet to access the equipment, but it's no big deal. Thanks again, Jeff This is just a guess as I am not familiar with the Denon menu system, but the fact that you say you can change the volume for the surround back channels might be a clue. It's a function of current from the amp.
Those speakers are no longer back speakers and will no longer function as back speakers while you've assigned the associated amplification for powering a second zone with. I just cannot get it to play a different source then is playing on the main zone. I really want those 2 additional speakers switch on or off. I think what it boils down to the impedance range of the Z2 amp. I have set the system to enable the remote to change the volume on Zone 2. Hats off to the observation about bandwidth, as that also will cause issues. But double check that all the same.
