We get 19+ miles per gallon in town and in the mountains and 24-30+ on the highway when the cruise control is set. The only thing that I do not like is the fact there is no bluetooth. It is equipped with onstar but the dealer can not install bluetooth. Passing at high speed is another matter as the engine seems to lose some of its kick past the 70 mile-per-hour mark. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Available in front or all-wheel drive, with a wide and roomy interior and loaded with standard and optional features demanded by today's modern mobile family, the Equinox is one of Chevrolet's best offerings. Within 72 hours my wife and I put 1,100 miles on it driving to her parents.
We all walked away, from what could have been a deadly accident. The Equinox also corners reasonably well, while remaining comfortable and quiet on the highway. It's an attractive, utilitarian vehicle marketed at a reasonable price, powered by a reasonably old-fashioned, Chinese-built. The nearly vibration-free Equinox runs smoothly without protest and is jackrabbit quick when it comes to crossing crowded intersections. The back seats and the front passe gender also fold down flat if you need to haul anything long.
With the seat all the way back, you can play racketball in the back seat. Top that off with comfy seats lots of leg room front and back and an awsome radio for long rides. Generous headroom and legroom complement a clever sliding rear seat to maximize passenger or cargo space. One of the best warranties as well. I just love my gm's. Couldn't really afford a brand new one so got an 08. It also has moveable luggage rack to suit your need.
The seats are super comfy, ride is quiet, it drives very smooth, plenty of leg room in front and back, great gas mileage when compared to my old blazer, plenty of cargo space and it is easy to maneuver in traffic. While pulling away from a stop or negotiating slower traffic on a two-lane road, the 3. The Onstar Package, built in phone and satelite radio is really nice! Biggest Con: cup holders in the front seat. The Equinox is unmistakable as a Chevy with big, gold Chevrolet bowtie badges front and rear, plus angular styling that immediately evokes the automaker's Silverado and Avalanche pickups. The back seat moving up to lengthen the back is very useful.
A week ago, I was t-boned by a huge truck, which ran its red light and collided with me. I can speak first hand to the truth of the claims of 5-star crash ratings. I read up on the suv or crossover that everyone was puttin out and this one just caught our eyes and trust me it does other eye's as well. One of the nicest features of this engine is it won't bankrupt you at the gas pump. Even though it gets great gas mileage compared to my old blazer, I do with it got the gas mileage of the 10 or newer model.
Put a heavy foot on the pedal and the Equinox takes it as a command, not a suggestion. This thing will fly and just preforms like a sport car. Super clean and quiet ride. Before you begin comparison shopping, be sure to check the Fair Purchase Price, which shows what others in your area are paying for their vehicles. I didn't think I would enjoy an equinox but I love it. But other than city mileage and little storage, I absolutely love it and am proud to by a Chevy owner. Overall length falls an inch shy of the mid-size Ford Explorer.
I'm not sure if all models comes stock with a pioneer stereo system but the stock pioneer system in mine is great. A few days after they sold the truck I wanted they sent the pics I requested of the truck they just sold as if it was still there. I called the dealership to speak to somebody but they never got back to me. I received an email from Car Gurus that the truck sold while I was waiting on them. You can easily slide it forward or back for more leg room or more cargo. Buyers who can afford the Sport model get a smoother and more efficient 3.
The back seat is very roomy and fits tall people quite comfortably. The people we worked with were incredibly nice. Its fully loaded and i love to drive it. I have to with with an aftermarket product. Though offered in all-wheel-drive, the Equinox is no off-roader, and most sold are front-wheel-drive. We are a little shortchanged on cup holders and clothing hooks, but, the rest of the features easily make up for that. The Lexus I was interested in was even more impressive in person.
Standard safety features include dual-stage front airbags, StabiliTrak, four-wheel disc brakes and a tire pressure monitor. Really down to earth guy. Drake let me take a test drive for as long as I wanted. Sadly, my car was a total loss, but I sustained only minimal injuries a few very minor airbag burns and abrasions , and my 2 and 4 year old children were not harmed, at all. Sorry for the long review, but after driving my Equinox, I am loyal. I had my eyes on two cars. .
