I know that it's later explained that the woman is just a sex doll. Please let the next season be better. Why choose to do it this way? This final episode you actually see a woman being choked and thrown off a balcony. Illana's comment that having a gun to make you feel like a man vs having a sex doll to feel that way really caught me off guard. The episode climax reminded me of David Lynch's Blue Velvet or Hitchcock's Rear Window, so you can understand my excitement. So uncomfortable to watch the episode where they agree that masturbating to kids is ok. The mushroom episode was especially weak imo.

SEASON FINALE

I enjoyed how it was set up so as to celebrate how far these two have come not only as a relationship within the fiction but also as their development as creative people with a kickass show. Her hair sticking up and looking like a dog had me dying of laughter! I was hoping that the whole crime solving thing was somehow set up by Abbi as part of her friendiversary gift. . My favorite part was when Ilana was hiding in the bedding of the puppies at the pet store. I was always looking forward to new episodes during past seasons, but this season I kept forgetting to watch.

SEASON FINALE

The finale episode is much more solid than the rest of the episodes this season, but I'm also bummed about this season. I'm not getting all the weird politics. Though, I must admit the final shot of them sitting on the same bench when they first became friends and the shot of the concrete made me all emotional. Why not choose any other theme. . . .
