First I went to install Windows via bootcamp and it was nothing like any of the guides I have read. The Win7 link does not work discontinued. This is infuriating because I installed Windows 10 so I can play some games which work fine btw , but can't play online. This is the first time I've used boot camp. Our guide might also interest you. The easiest way to do so is to use Windows Update.
I tried everything I could. For the third time now, Win 10 has done an update and crashed. Please see for the detailed steps for your model. This is an important process, as it installs a bunch of drivers and software that will help make your Windows 10 experience as good as possible on your Mac. I knew some people are having issues with the Bluetooth trackpad. In addition to repairing the Boot Camp, this method can also be used to update Boot Camp drivers to the latest version. I'm also having an issue with wifi where it says it's connected, but when I try to load a webpage, it won't. If im honest, i have tried the Apple forums. From there I tried everything. I don't have Parallels yet, otherwise I'd try it myself. Today I tried to boot to Win and get only a black screen.
I have done exactly what you say and made a new clean install of Bootcamp Windows 10. Right now I'm restoring the backup Win Image file back to the bootcamp partition to see what happens. Restore just completed, so I'll see if that fixed my issue. Very consistently, my wifi will drop, requiring me to disconnect and reconnect for the wifi to work again. Please also see for reference.
I resolved my issues by booting into mac, downloading the boot camp drivers for windows via Boot Camp assistant, booting into windows and installing them. Oh, and note: Once I authenticated my Outlook. I guess I'll have to also do another install of High Sierra, since it even shows up when I boot to my cloned drive. You can also add a password. I should have tried to look up partition locations before attempting to boot into Windows several times to avoid guesswork.
