Plus, I like Li Yitong, so I guess I would check her drama. Later, Wan Mei confronts Yue Ying on why she has always felt that the latter wanted to kill her, and Yue Ying admits to Wan Mei that she wants her heart, to feed Gong Zi the antidote. Gong Zi on the other is selfless, he loves wan mei unconditionally and let's her do her own thing and the path she wants to go. She still did everything he said because she just didnt want to oppose him. Loved Chang An, Wan Mei, Gong Zi well loved and hated for his kindness and manipulation and Yue Ying. Ending- I can't say that it is a happy ending but a good ending. I guess she rather wear a walmart handbag than a Chanel handba.
I've watched the entire drama in raw, but everytime a previous episode is subbed, I always rewatch it. He sighs, and tells her not to pity him. It burns the skin and flesh. It was refreshing to see and it also reinforced the difficulties of being an assassin. Usually a story that is adapted from a novel turns out to be great that is why i was hooked from the beginning until the end. As Gong Zi leaves, someone appears in the doorway, shocking Wan Mei. Even though i didn't understand the lyrics the melody itself works its magic.
Yes, I agreed with people saying that it had a movie quality. A typical Chinese-drama story line, the main couple Wan Mei and Chang An gradually fall in love only to face several tragic obstacles to their relationship. If you are looking for a gem, this is it. The themesong kills me every time. Back in the room, Cha Luo orders for Liu Guang to be given a quick death. Ummm… How pragmatic and bullshit one can lie about self righteous and integrity.
I had so hoped for a happy ending. I hope he will get picked up in other quality dramas, although I know it will be hard to resist idol dramas to secure the way to fame. Wan Mei reveals to Yue Qing Ya that Gong Zi is actually his son, and in his last breaths, Yue Qing Ya tells them to go to Ding Shan Men for a shot at saving Gong Zi. Good, imaginative directing and use of a limited budget. I personally dont mind noble idiocies, or perhaps because their acting is good, so I find them touching and sad.
He is tall and handsome and looked more mature than Chang An, while lonely charming and giving helps to our female lead. I won't say too much about the storyline, just watch it for yourself, but I have to say this: there are a lot of scenes where love is mixed with pain. At first it was interesting, but at some point later on I just couldn't get into it anymore. Two women Amami Hitoyo and Akashi Michi are caught up in student demonstration in Shanghai while on business in China and hired by one of China's industry complexes to have an investigation of the nuclear tests. The definite flaws of the drama is the editing.
Cha Luo is furious, and deals a blow to Chang An. Chang An assist wan mei in her endeavour but with conditions. Music: The music was wonderful. During the chaotic period towards the end of the Tang Dynasty, Qi Xue accidentally enters a mysterious city and was given the name Wang Mei. This type of torturing is often used to make people confess their guilt or spill information.
The cinematography was completely off the charts. I think she is more complimented with Gong zi because they have the unspoken love only two lovers can understand. You should put attention to the dialogues, coz you may miss something important. Mixed emotions from anger to love, hate to warmth. But also the many obstacles the support roles were facing throughout the drama. The music and sound editing were also great. The role of leading lady seemed to stupid to be accepted.
Story- i like how unique the story is and that it is adapted from a novel. The two become embroiled in greater conspiracy involving a deadly struggle for power. But somehow I dont know what inside Wan Mei brain, I know she doesnt like killing people randomly but being a wishy-washy killer sure get on my nerves. This drama is a so-so for me. I understand that this was supposed to be a wuxia, but I wasn't sure what was going because they would incorporate random elements of magic at times. And also when they put some hot stuff on the feet? Though I was glad that some characters ended so we could move on in S2.
Chang An, on the other hands needs wan mei to live. It certainly doesn't look all the other chinese historical dramas I watched so far no cheesy coloring and bad animations. The most important thing is who is the one that Wan Mei loves and picks. Ended up following the cast on weibo and loved their amusing interactions to promote the drama. In my opinion, the two leads acted very well. The cast: From the beginning the chemistry between everyone was amazing. I just watch it in my spare time and can still enjoy it.
The tug and pull kind of love. No one is really good or bad in this series, several characters change under endurance or by unhappy events. Regardless of some of the small issues, it was a very enjoyable drama to watch with just enough comedy and tension. I was literally throwing my hands up in the air at the end. Liked: I love the content in the dialogues.
