Yesterday Avast had me update to their latest version which, according to Avast, is recognized by Mozilla's new add-on signing policy. I cannot get the add-on to update manually or automatically my default on Firefox. Their green icon is now showing on my toolbar. Avast is still looking into why this is happening, but other then this error in the add-ons area, Avast is working properly. However, it is still showing that Firefox is not recognizing it when I look at my add-ons Manager. In Firefox you an only disable such an extension.

In Firefox you an only disable such an extension. I was going to remove it and do a new install in order to get the new Avast update, but when I went to the Add-ons on Firefox and did a search Avast did not show up. . They sent me a link. . . .
