One thing I will say, is that if your changing just an outer sensor like I was then you only need to remove just the one side. Loosen the allen bolt that connects to the shock absorber. The first thing you need to do is remove the trunk liners on the passenger and driver's side. Also, when the description says the bumper is clipped to the bodywork, is this all around or just adjacent to the wheel arches as pictured? It feels brutal and make a horrible noise but it works! Remove both the rear wheels and tires. Then u need to remove the 3 torques down inside wheel arch and remove the bolts and plastic button fastners along the bottom of bumper. Remove mud flap from bumper assembly. Use something flat like a screwdriver to disengage the bottom portion of the bumper from the guide circled in red and slide the bumper forward a little.
If you have parking sensors take care not to strain the wires which pass through the body on the left side as you lower the bumper to the floor. Also working on the dashboard is dangerous because the B8 has a center air bag that i didn't even knew existed. Finally there are a couple of torx screws in the wheel arch if you have an Allroad putting the suspension on it's highest setting helps access.
