We were watching Operation Dumbo Drop. The League has characters that seem like people you would know in real life. Okay, so Dennis could have actually killed her, right. Other shows will have a big-shot Hollywood actor get paid millions to say a few words that other people have wrote and they get absolutely no recognition. I'd compare it to Monty Python and The Three Stooges, because it differs from other shows in that it doesn't deliver jokes and punchlines but rather each episode is one long joke and its all the crazyness in between that makes the show so funny.
It was burning my skin! It has potential, but it has miles, nay, lightyears to go before it even reaches the level of 'Seinfeld'. And let me tell you something. The show has fantastic concepts for episodes, and though the executions are not always amazing, they knock the ball out the park with the left field twists and reveals. That's where they add more nipples. This show is for you. But Louie, Archer and that new show Legit are hilarious. I'd say that's pretty realistic.
This cat did not land on her feet. I would stick to most of the adult shows on Adult Swim and Comedy Central. I got offended at one simple Mexican joke I'm Mexican American and I'm a little defensive, even if I don't like being one and that's when my hatred for It's Always Sunny comes from. On the plus side, Mac shows again that he's not funny, Dee is always willing to do a gig, and Frank has done far, far worse than Dennis. The opening clearly shows what this show is to those who see it. You son of a bitch. On , it has an approval rating of 93% with an average score of 8.
What are we watching here? All in all, I don't really like this show due to its annoying characters, humor, and writing. Maureen died three years ago. It starts with a bang, hilarious from the get go, up until season 2, where the beloved Frank played by Danny DeVito is introduced, which put the show into King of Comedy tier. They all feel as if they are superior among every one else especially Dennis and will always think they can do other people's jobs a lot better than them. The only thing is able to make those things happen in real life. By that, I mean where the gang does something pointless, there's no social commentary, no unique format, just the gang being greedy and nasty to each other and generally being funny.
This is an honest review I'm not just someone jumping on the hate bandwagon. I also love how they never have serious feelings toward one another. Always Sunny at its heart is about paraphrasing one of the characters here people yelling at each other until the loudest voice wins, and this show didn't have that. It's never gonna actually make you full, and at the end you're sick, but you want to go back for more. The show is not very creative, and reminds me of Workaholics.
This show is creative and adds that clever wittiness that people with a strong sense of crazy atmosphere would like to be surrounded by. I killed them all, of course. I'm a fan of dumb humor, but this show is missing the humor part. Back in the sweatshop in 'Nam, we found a cat, we tossed it right in the soup. You rarely see these guys get serious, angry, or frustrated and if you do 100% of the time it is always played off comically. He broke the thing's head clean off.
Going through the most outrageous stories ever to be told. These threads will go up slightly before each new episode for the remainder of Season 12. It's that bone-chilling effect that only they can produce in the openings of television now. He is mentally challenged and kept asking if he told them what they wanted to hear would they take him back to school because he had a test. What about the security footage of Maureen's death? But let me tell you something, he was no fan of Maureen's, either. This is better, and in hindsight that wouldn't work in the Sunny universe where the outside world is pretty normal and it's just The Gang and the secondary characters that are insane.
This show is the greatest show of this generation! Am I glad she's dead? Howerton did well as the central focus, Olsen's impersonations of Maureen were funny, Charlie's tranquilized interview was hilarious, but overall it felt padded to me. How the hell they run a bar together with so much tension is beyond, but it does make me laugh, and sometimes really bellylaugh. Yeah, of course I was. The thought of that just makes me want to blow my lunch. That's why I'm never gonna watch this show ever again. The cops told him what they wanted him to say. .
The League has wit, charm, and profanity. Robert was tried and acquitted of one of the murders, but still a suspect in the disappearance of his first wife and the murder of his long-time friend which I think he has now been charged with but I haven't kept up with his story. I don't want to be too harsh, because it wasn't terrible, but the heavy borrowing slowed the show down. Talking about realistic, the dialogs in this show are one of the most natural I've seen they often improvise, so that's no surprise. All the characters expect Sweet Dee are very annoying. The earlier seasons have a one note formula with simple concepts which is great in some sense, because they can truly focus on the comedy but before they start feeling repetitive, the latter seasons become more experimental and go beyond their comfort zone. What I love the most about the show is it doesn't try and pull on your heart strings ever like so many sitcoms.
