Okay so with the santa story I was all for it when i was writing this review. The final story that is a part of all of this is Santa preparing to deliver all of the toys.
I do think some of this could have been done practically and it would have been better. Getting a new Christmas themed horror movie is always an interesting occurrence to receive, especially in the unique, and some-what weird way presented in this movie. It's greatest strength is in it's ability to effectively build tension. So basically you jump around from each story, the main problem here is that I found two out of four of the stories to be pretty cliché and boring. I thought a Christmas horror story would be a fun idea.

I'm guessing this movie will get repeated Christmas viewings in the years to come. Some part of the school was at some point a convent and there's more to the place than just the killings. With our first story, we have a found-footage style ghost story set within the dark corridors of a school. My god was he scary! There is value in all four horror stories.
The film is from directors Grant Harvey, Steven Hoban and Brett Sullivan with a script from James Kee, Sarah Larsen, Doug Taylor and Pascal Trottier. Despite the connection, I didn't love all of the stories for different reasons. It was like everything had been thrown into a big Christmas cooking pot and left to simmer - unfortunately losing some of the flavour along the way. He recovers his seasonal facilities while humming along to the chant during the climactic illuminati sex party, though! The fourth and final story is probably my favorite. It's easy to see why - four short, separate Christmas Eve horror tales in one movie, flicking back and forth, it can be difficult to keep up. The characters are oblivious to their fates or what lies ahead of them in general. However, they are picked off one by one until only Caprice remains. Reading the synopsis, I knew Shatner wasn't going to be the star focus, but i was okay with that. And even when we get to the battle, and action scenes, we still don't get what we were hoping for, instead small scenes, glimpses, and actions involving Krampus, once again, not exactly paying off successfully. The trailer and the current reviews made it out like this was going to be a blast to watch, and some parts of it were, but for the most part I felt pretty let down. But I don't regret seeing it, which is a fine compliment, since most horror films leave me questioning when I'll ever bother watching another film again. As I mentioned, the humour thankfully is not overdone. One story is a mini-slasher while the brunt of the screen time involves a Santa battling zombie elves with a taste for human flesh.
