With the bleed screw open and the hose in place, have a friend press the clutch pedal down to the floor and hold it there. It is integral that you refill the brake master cylinder with the correct type of brake fluid as you flush the old fluid out of the slave cylinder. Once the pedal is all the way back to the top of its clutch throw, you can begin the bleeding process once again to remove the remainder of the air bubbles in the system. Simply loosten the line, pump it one time , tighten it let your foot off of the brake and loosten it again and pump it one time etc until no more air comes out then do the same for the slave cylinder. Leakage was past the master cyl seal into the interior of the truck. Now it has over 112,000 miles on it, mind you it didn't slip or anything. When I had it, sometimes I would start it in gear. Parts are all metal and dont cost anymore than the stupid plastic stuff if you shop around. I cannot for the life of me figure out how this system is supposed to lift the throwout bearing off the clutch fingers so it will last.
Then put it on the truck and bleed it as normal. Since the install, the warmest my tranny temp has been was about 160°. Have your friend release the clutch pedal.
