This is a very solid truck I have literally put 5 thousand dollars into this vehicle in the last year, it has a new water pump, fuel pump, fuel lines throughout the whole truck, all new brakes not just pads but all of the brakes have been changed rotors, calipers, drums, everything, tuned up, I have had the fuel injectors replaced as well. They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle.
It is a great vehicle, plenty of room for people or cargo. I have been told that in cold weather the 4wd takes a long time to kick in ocassionally does anyone know about this? Gas mileage is about what you might expect of a V8-powered vehicle, though with a 42 gallon fuel tank, it doesn't need to be filled up all that often though it can get mighty expensive when you finally do need to fill up. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. We love it and we want our next vehicle to also be a Suburban. Remove as much fuel as possible using a siphon or whatever means available. The 350 engine is reliable, and since it isn't a 4x4 it gets almost the mileage my '94 Silverado gets. I appears that it really does not work as I have had just the rear wheels spinning so it's not just the light.

Short of, probably, expensive solutions as noted above try stopping and backing up once you engage the 4x. Remove the bolts that go through the bands around the tank and lower the tank a little. There is an actuator in the front end that uses heat to engage the front axle not one of their better ideas there is a new style actuator that greatly reduces the time necc to engage the axle.
It started right up though and we continued on! In my case I am replacing the steel lines in the side rail to a point where I can service the corrosion prone steel lines, so I just cut the rubber fuel lines, making one longer than the other so I can tell return from supply later. Behind the wheel, I found the Suburban to be surprisingly responsive. With the tank lowered, remove the fuel lines and electrical connections. It is a separate part, so you have to remove the sending unit, to get to the fuel pump. This truck has a very good quality feel to it and feels very safe when riding in it. Haven't seen any gas tanks in the back onless some one added them later on. Primary Use: Family transportation None — this truck is pretty good at accelerating, and is okay at braking, the handleing is great. I'm not sure the exact capacity, I know, however, that it is much larger than that of a newer cavalier, or sunfire. This Is A Great Truck! Overall, this vehicle is a pleasure to drive, and I would recommend it to anybody who seeks a sturdy, reliable vehicle with lots of cargo space and off-road capabilities. I'll be removing rust and using rust reformer, priumer and underc oater to dress this thing up before it goes back in.
