Personally I would install the transgo tugger kit but you already have a valve body. Valve bodies between 6F35 Generation 1 and 2 are also different which indicates the two are not interchangeable.
I would recommend replacing all the molded pistons as well. Even if you don't do this yourself, if you read it through and understand it you'll be able to ask the guy you get to do the job some serious questions, and he might just do a good job, knowing that you know. I found electric parts cleaner cuts through the black stuff fast but not sure if it will be ok on the parts. I wouldn't worry about the selector switch shaft seal unless it was leaking before. Any advice on what to use to clean up parts? Brian says he does all trannys the same.
