Another thing that I found interesting that the manual didn't state, was the orientation of the reverse clutches. Put the car in neutral. If it slips in L or D1st gear it is the reaction drum brake band that is slipping. Once again pics coming soon. Remove the selector lever from the mode switch. The input shaft seems to spin fine. I guess I could have made the wrong assumption if they were different sizes as I didn't mic them just replaced them as I went. I have a manual saved to my lab top, then forgot the lab top. When I took everything apart I took pictures of a bunch of stuff. Same goes for the transmission filter. This wear in the case creates a gap through which third clutch oil leaks, causing a lack of apply pressure to the clutch and release pressure on the servo. Its gear selector has a propensity to fail causing the transmission to pop out of drive. If either of these fail they may cause this problem.
