Using this oil filter I did notice at 4000-5000 miles, the oil still looks fresh out the bottle. The fuel filters can be had aftermarket now last year you still had to go through the factory for them for about 100. Until you have bought your own parts and done it yourself, you can't know that. I bought this filter off tool Cap and used it for the 2nd oil change after I let my truck sit for three hours without running. I found all the reviews to be correct changing the oil filter was a Hugh mess!!! I use synthetic in mine.
