The Camry I had did not have a lot of room and I hated the blind spot on the left due to the side air bags. Not sure how I will use the navigation for a long trip if it continues like this. Hopefully I can find one! Came back just a few days ago with the entune system restarting on video have your passenger take it of while we were driving, and now the dealer is ordering me a new head unit. The padding goes into the gap between the front seat and center console. I am going to take back to my dealership next week and see what they say. Just easy to drive and gas mileage is what they estimate it to be. My iPod being connected did seem to exacerbate the issue, but it crashed plenty of times without the iPod being connected as well.
I was wondering if it was happening when my cell phone connected via Bluetooth switches to a different cell tower or finds a new wireless signal. I opened a case with Toyota headquarters. While Front-wheel drive comes standard, Toyota offers all-wheel drive as an option on all Venza trims. All advertised vehicles are subject to actual dealer availability. Please check with your dealer for more information.
Took it to the dealer and Toyota dealer said they were aware of the issue and they claim that the Corrective action is reprogramming not replacing, but that if the problem persists they would replace. I test drove and considered a 2015 Chevy Equinox, 2015 Buick Encore and 2015 Nissan Rogue, in addition to the Venza. This feature of hands free phone and navigation was why I purchad ed the vehicle new an am getting no help from toyota on it as of yet. That is when the problems began. It was more money and I wasn't able to get a sunroof in my price range, but I am still very happy! Drove the Venza once and knew it was the car for me.
To-2 engine will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Within 6 months of leasing it the entire navigation and radio would freeze. The last freeze up was when I pulled into the service greeting area so the greeter got to see the freeze and, right on cue, it rebooted. If looking for a vehicle that is easy to get in or out of this is the one. Later on that day the radio screen went black. Ive had a problem with Entune freezing and rebooting since 16k miles.
Decided not to argue with them and just going to call the dealer on Monday. Thank God I could pull off in a parking lot. So many people on this thread but not many following up with a solution. I had a wreck today because of it! It went blank for a bit, then went to Initial Sceen Check Surroundings for safety, etc and now that screen stays on permanently. It is frustrating to say the least.
Also it might reboot itself without provocation one or more times. My only thought now is to purchase a action video camcorder to try and capture this issue and then maybe Toyota will do something. Use for comparison purposes only. We found the perfect vehicle and set it all up easily. Had the issue twice on way to dealer this morning, no issues in 30 minutes of driving since. My husband, on the other hand, never ceased to remind me how much he disliked the Venza. To see what's new for 2015, click , or check out a of the two model years.
The dealer installed an update and the rebooting has not been an issue since. Even within my own home, this dichotomy was strong and ever-present. Love this car and hope to have it for 10-15 years. Only thing is blind spot it's hard to see a car coming on your right side of vehicle. Same problem still after I picked it up.
She asked a few question about what I was looking for and we started the journey. In the domain of the new powertrain segment 2015 Toyota Venza, it will be proved 2. While the Venza proved to be great as a grocery-getter and errand-runner its standard acoustic laminated windshield kept the car quiet around town , it sadly became rough, unrefined and loud on the highway. Especially mow with all the electronics. Completely freezes, cant turn radio off, cant adjust the sound, bluetooth phone calls are dropped, eventually the system reboots itself, or you can turn car off and reboot. I appreciated the available power liftgate that was included on my test car, but it was so slow to operate that it was occasionally frustrating on those rushed and hurried days. Samsung Galaxy s5, my phone has no other issues.
Toyota is not owning the problem and want nothing to do with correcting it. Even within my own home, this dichotomy was strong and ever-present. Please match the dash shape and all plugs with the unit you are replacing. One thing we can all agree on is the benefit of the well-thought-out storage space up front in the Venza, which is within reach of both the driver and the front passenger. Our Take on the 2015 Toyota Venza Editor's note: This review was written in March 2014 about the 2014 Toyota Venza. They told me it needed a new card.
