With the exception of a power driver's seat, that's it for options on Sport models, but Touring and Grand Touring models can be equipped with a navigation system, power moonroof and 10-speaker Bose premium audio system. Unfortunately, the navigation system boasts a low-resolution, dated interface; there's little cargo space behind the third row, and that third row is strictly for the under-10 set. It makes it a lot more flexible, and easier for kids to get to the third row. However, it drinks regular unleaded gasoline. While the engine has plenty of grunt, its fuel economy of 24 mpg on the highway lags many competitors. There's a lot of competition at that level, including the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Chevrolet Traverse and Toyota Highlander. The driver and front passenger have plenty of space, and the 2nd-row passengers get great leg- and headroom as well.
Sport models get 3-zone automatic climate control, a 5. Touring models add blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, a rearview camera and leather upholstery with heated power front seats. Everything is easy to find and use, and there's decent storage space in the center console bin, glove box and various door-mounted bins. However, it also reclines and offers easy access to the third row via a 1-handed release. . At the rear are bold red taillights and shiny twin exhaust outlets. The Grand Touring models add 3-position-memory to the driver's seat, automatic bi-xenon headlights, power tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rearview mirror and 20-inch wheels.
All-wheel drive is available and is a smart option if you regularly drive in inclement weather, especially snow. . . . . .
