I also bought a Fob from Ebay for 14 dollars and put my old circuit board in the new fob because the small silver disks on the panel were coming off.

Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation. You have to be careful when choosing a locksmith. The problem in my case the fob is not air tight and the round target like connections get a light film that does not allow good contact. Had to have it jumped.

You might be able to save even more money by ordering the key and key fob from my company We stock genuine oem key fob replacements, so you don't have to worry about cheap knock offs with us. Well it has 4,200 miles on it now a thousand miles later and it did it again. Loss of power too many times to say. We picked car up and it worked until August 17th. . Got it to the dealer.

Another chime will sound if you have done everything correctly. We did nothing so I'll chalk this up to Magic. Be sure to remove the old battery from the key fob to get an idea of what type is required for your specific key.
