I still have the problem, regardless. Consumer states problems with the steering wheel shaking while driving and the tire pressure sensor staying on. May go back to Hyundai because at least they offer a 100k mile warranty if their foreign parts give out. I took it in to Toyota to have the unit checked out and they also said that they weren't aware of the problem with Entune systems but that I could leave my car for a day and they would run diagnostics on it. I've gotten two updates on my 2015 since I had it new, only 23k miles on it but time will tell. The current mileage is 45,000 and failure mileage was 40,000. Or at least they used to be.

Update from Aug 25, 2018 : After taking the unit apart and examining the serial number info, I found what I thought to be a hard drive to be the satellite tuner. Is there someway to update the firmware for this? I will not buy another toyota. See your dealer for actual price, payments and complete details. I can't offer a definite answer. I had the stereo people take the radio out, put back in the factory radio - still didn't work. The display on my Corolla like so many others constantly shows a picture of a system that is trying to load. Or you can pull your hair out trying to find a solution with the dealership, though I would not advise this route. Anyway, when I did remove the head unit, I turned it over and underneath, attached to the head unit, itself, was what appears to be a standard hard drive like you'd find in desktop computers. Hopefully Toyota has decided to put better systems in their cars moving forward. How much is a new radio for ones that had to replace it at the dealer? That is usually found on the car's instruction booklet.
