After noticing that two other vans in the area have the same issue, I have decided to make a complaint. This automoblie is the worst car I have ever owned. Service guy kept saying he would put my papers in the mail. My rear wiper control went out. All of the doors locked when I purchased the vehicle now only the 2 front doors and hatch lock with the key. We have had the van in obrien 2 other times for the passenger sliding door bouncing back open and not latching big safety issue, and now the drivers side sliding door won't even shut another big safety issue with small children in the car.

The dealership was not able to duplicate the problem, however, an hour after I left the dealership that day, I was stuck in a wal-mart parking lot with my kids in the van and trying to get the passenger sliding door to shut while it was cold outside again! I bought this car in 2008 and have not had it 2 yrs and have replaced the battery, put 4 new tires on as tires keep loosing air pressure and head lights have blown 3 different times. We were told by the dealer that there was a bad electronic switch. The vehicle was inspected by the repair shop who placed the door back on, but stated that the door would fall again if it were to be opened. Your mechanic or dealership can take a look and figure out if this is the cause behind the problem. These repairs will be performed free of charge.

The fire came from all underneath of the van. The first of which is a brake malfunction. Kia battery was fried by faulty alternator. I pulled the fuses, but that did not help. On pulling into the dealership parking lot, which is down a small hill, the door again slid open and closed.
They say it will get fixed this time again!. The aircondtioner stop blowing cold air with in the first three months of owning it, this has been fixed. Vehicle taken to dealership for repair, indicating that didn't have correct parts, and need to order. The power sliding doors have malfunctioned numerous times. The failure mileage was 20,800.
Sedona owners with this problem should have a mechanic look at the problem to determine the exact cause and how to fix the issue. Also, the tires need to be replaced at less than 25k and probably have needed to be replaced since 15k. The dashboard would alert that the rear driver's sliding door was ajar, but it was not.
