I have no issues connecting to Sync, but when I try and play music via Spotify or Pandora, my Bluetooth disconnects immediately. Then when you restart, it starts fresh. Or do you have any other suggestions? The MyFord Touch equipment is covered with a warranty. This should clear this out… If this is happening again, I would say there is something else going on… such as Bluetooth being turned off on your phone. Then search for or add new devices. Why not visit your Ford service department and have them do a complete diagnostic? I feel that ford motor co.

Especially if it were to drip down the screen and linger along inside the crevice between the frame and the actual touch screen. You mentioned that the map worked with voice commands… did the voice commands worked with the phone, Bluetooth, the media, etc.
It is not that sensitive. I used to work installing car phones back in the day and we would tap fuses for power. Once the weather warms up in the afternoon, everything is working fine again. Sometimes the issue is how you are , see this video for more info. They can run diagnostics to see if there is anything else that can be adjusted or corrected. Im having problems connecting now with my phone — I have removed sync from phone and gone through re-pairing process, I have also down a master reset on sync, but I cannot delete my phone from sync. The system uses a controller to regulate the input from all of these areas. We since have driven on 2 very long trips in excess of 22hrs each way and the same thing happens every time. There may not be a way to turn off the tone.

Yes, I would use the hard reboot procedure to see if it improves things.
I am sure of it! Let it run for at least three or four minutes. It will create power and with the generator create the necessary power to start the engine, run the lights and other electrical components. This is a sticky issue… I have never tried this… but in theory, you could maybe find a complete similar year and model radio head unit in a donor vehicle. Worked for a little bit. At least I got my bluetooth working again.

Does this work on a 2008 Taurus X? Turn off and completely power down your vehicle. Cars and their electronics are a joke… I would never pay for an optional upgrade on electronics in a car.
I drive my car 40 miles — about 50 minutes on average — each way to and from work, five days a week. Also, have you completely deleted Sync from your phone and your phone from Sync? I often suggest that folks, delete Sync from their phone. Would a reboot help solve this problem? Some folks scratch their head and don't worry, others will jump at the chance to make it work, while others cringe at the fact their technology needs work. No turn the vehicle off. Problems with electrical components tend to appear very early in their usage life. Check to see if you have the up-to-date Sync software. Have you checked your fuse?
