Most cases like this in in both of mine it is due to the repetitive use of that door, and the realitive inflexibility of the wire harness. Battery had to be recharged and alternator replaced. While attempting to remove something from the back seat, the rear driver side sliding door closed on the contact's arm. Once I did that, I noticed my door locks began working and my van fired right up! We were so disappointed and thought it would cost us hundreds to fix it…. The failure mileage was 113,000.
