Thank you so much for posting this, I was just going to live with the blower blowing, probably not good for the battery, but since you posted how inexpensive and easy it was to make the repair, I decided to go for it. Surprisingly, there are a limited number of sources for these electrical components. You will find a relay box closest to the driver's side fender. Be certain to align the relay's tabs correctly. Pop off the relay box cover and tap the relay. I also moved the rotor by hand, then left it for 5 minutes to dry and then put it back.
The display reads that they are on full blast in both cases. I have changed both of the relays, but the problem remains. I have changed both of the relays, but the problem remains. Is there some sort of fan regulation resistor or would this indicate that there's some sort of debris stuck in the blower? The rear blower works perfectly fine, for cold and hot air. Now usually the blowers go to max when you turn the car off, and this is the problem, but if you are saying yours stopped working, it could be either the relay or the blower motor, but likely the relay. Ordered two new relays and installed them this morning. I checked all fuses and nothing blown. That is the way the speed is controlled. If you live close to a dealer, phone their parts department and ask them for the price of Mazda Part No. There is alot of useful info in here.

I was told this is due to the drainage pipe being clogged. Some times the blower worked some times not. You will find a relay box closest to the driver's side fender. Sent me a personal mail with you mail so I sent you the instruction to remove. It's not as common but we've seen it here at our dealership.
I'm planning on checking the latter this weekend. I then leaned over the center console and noted it was coming from the back seat. Are you telling me that replacing the relay won't solve the problem? You only need to be concerned that the relay part number itself matches. My 2010 rear has stopped blowing intermittently. I read this forum, checked the relays. . What a well run business. If it does not seat with a firm push, make certain that it is properly aligned. Since the rear worked I figured that if I just switched the front and the rear that the front would work and the rear wouldn't. The rear blower works perfectly fine, for cold and hot air.
