You can search for any Auxiliary Input Adapter as there are various. Did you ever get it working? It has a microphone for phone calls and buttons for controlling music playback. I can't reproduce it the issue consistently. I then stuck the box into some space behind the radio. Did anyone else experience any issues like this? I got it installed ok, but for some reason sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. The American version allegedly works fine. But if its impossible, its fine as well.

I considered replacing the stock head unit but I wanted to keep the factory look. I remember the radio on the Accord being not particularly user-friendly actually downright awkward to use so an after-market unit could definitely make your motoring experience more pleasurable. It says to use the connection on the back of the factory unit that the cd-changer uses trunk-mounted or under-seat? I've never installed one of these, and I have never had anything to do with Crutchfield I just found the website today so I'm far from an expert here. I only wish I could have found a little better place for the plug housing. All i have is the standard 6 stack in dash unit with dual zone climate control in the radio head unit.
You may have to remove part of the dash in order to gain access to the rear of the radio - so be aware of that. I think this device is pretty new too, it seems like it came out in late-January. Anything else would call for an aftermarket system. I bought this which plugs into a port in the back of the factory stereo. I plan on trying to call them tomorrow, but their tech support hours aren't exactly work friendly. And sound quality is as good as it gets in my opinion. You basically have three options if you want to keep a factory look in your car. I think they may have made a change in the 2006 models because they knew the Honda Music Link was coming out. The way it worked was the box had 2 ends. You may have a faulty unit. This input was easy to install and works very well. I am just afriad it might look weird or something.
This would be worth looking into just so you know how much it would cost, it may not be super expensive, but my gut feel says it will be reasonably costly. Sometimes I can get it to come on and stay on, other times I can't get it to work at all. I am extremely happy with this product, and wholeheartedly recommend it as the best iPod solution for the 2003-2006 Honda Accord. This reduces that noise but does not eliminate it. It will give you a sub standard sound.
Its just an input so it wont allow any controlling by your deck. Right now i'm using the new itrip auto and getting distortion from some songs. To access the port, you have to disassemble a small portion of your car's interior. I tested it and it sounded great. Sound quality differs from brand to brand though.

I have had 2 Euros in the past — not the current series — both the previous one bought in late 2004, one bought in very early 2008. Removal of the radio, and storage cabinet, were relatively easy — mayber 10 minutes to remove and 10 minutes to put back. Or would i need to split the factory harness anyway to use this kit? The fact it locks up the ipod is a pain. Did anyone else experience any issues like this? I don't find it all that annoying. Add your own for the cost of the 3.
