To bad I just gave away my last box for my 05 in light tan. This box is designed to go full width behind the seat and requires the removal of the jack and mounting studs and the air vents on the sides of the rear cargo area need to either be trimmed or removed. And if you have seen so many of these type posts, its because it is a real issue with crew cab owners who care about finding a good sounding setup with this limited space. Fits fine under the extended cab rear seat and sounds really good. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported box is what you want. Maybe you can find something that meets your needs.

The box is built well and fits perfectly. We believe that a subwoofer box is one of the most important accessories to get a cab sub that sounds not just louder, but better. Make sure you pull the box forward towards the brackets in front until it closes. I'm willing to take his word for it for now. Oops just noticed you said crew cab not extended cab. I'm totally happy with 1 12 in my nnbs 2011 sierra cc in a ported enslosure built to spec. I keep seeing people ask this question, no offense, but people should quit looking at subs with 7 plus inches of mounting depth and do a little research.
Not sure if that is what you are looking for and not sure how to measure air space. Have any of you guys had any luck mounting subs in your crew cab trucks? So coming from a guy who knows good craftsmanship when he sees it this product is top notch. This is the only box i could find that had the mounting depth and air space I required. I will comment back when the whole system is up and running. I rewatched the product video on youtube and you can tell the passenger seat in the video doesn't latch either because he doesn't pull the handle to lift it.
All I know is when the seat folds down it is just a tad above the highest spot of the speaker box and then it slopes down towards the back of the cab so it has some space. One would likely be enough. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want. I have researched many different options and they all seem less than desirable. We will be happy to assist you with your needs, queries, or concerns. I am a little concerned about how close the surround is to the one bar on the passenger side, but Matt says it will work.

Both styles have very limited air space and mounting depth. No worries, we can look up the specs of your subs. It's a tight fit but if you get it positioned correctly it'll go down. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. Would I be better off to just throw a bazooka tube under the seat and be done with it? I am not concerned with finding the subwoofer, I am concerned with finding a quality enclosure for this vehicle.
