Thankfully it did not completely come apart and I was able to get to my destination, albeit with smoked pinion bearings. Parts fit for the following vehicle options. Install the coil on the plug, then put the 10 mm nut back on to fasten the coil down. This is not a problem with new or rebuilt replacement parts, but by now most of the original seals in vehicles made prior to 2000 are are the verge of failure due to age and heat degradation.
I really feel like something needs to be done about this as chrysler has chosen to turn their backs on the problem. The retaining clips on the lsd fail and begin grinding a ring into the housing. When i had to tear mine down, I found that there wasn't a huge selection.
