I switched off the air, and the gauge went down a little, but didn't really cool off. Is there anything else it could be? Oh, and the air conditioner only works in the winter time. Plan on removing just about every part of your dash. The air conditioner stopped working after it was nice and cold for about 5 minutes. We ended up having to park it for 6 months while still paying 300 a month car payment and full coverage insurance until I had money to fix it.
It seems to work once in a great while. Can only be used in the 12V car, the way to distinguish 12V and 24V car is how many pieces of battery, 1 is 12V, and 2 are 24V. After all day diagnostics, the dealership says the fuse box is melted due to an electrical problem. Now I am stuck and do not want to take to a shop. The document I have to upload is the reciept from the repair. Is that one particular fuse have any burn marks or white marks on it? When the foam is gone, it blows both through and around the heater core.

We have a 2005 passat and they are saying we need a new compressor. I'll be taking my car in on Monday next week. Maybe I was just imagining it. To date I've visited the dealer 5 times twice with the car running and the fault clearly present and the car has been in for checks 3 times. If not, test the fan control module which is beneath the battery tray on the driver side. I also bet they still charge the outrageous diagnostic fee. Thanks for any help you can give me! I swapped it out from a donor car, but after a few minutes, the car started growling every couple of minutes, and when I checked the compressor, it seems to be short cycling in conjunction with the growling noise.
