My 2001 Max trans has began to slip intermttently, but my dealer tech says he can find nothing mechanically wrong with it. The vehicle had not been repaired. I have searched this forum thoroughly, and have read about issues with the Speed Senser and the Motor Mount. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 82,000. Very hard jerky shifts between 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 1st and accompanied by loud clunking noise.
