A fluid is coming out of the exhaust, and I'm told it could be water from over winter. It starts right up cold no problem but once it stalls when hot, have to let it sit for 10-15 before it will start again. Naturally I would rather pick one up locally, but I can't find a description of what size the screw is. We got it running, and all was good. Spring came along, and now it doesn't start at all. A bolt on the engine has either oil or gas seeping through it,abd was loose. Sorry I run a Grizzly 660. What's going on with this thing? I tightened it and it consisted. It does look in your picture like it is needing a cleaning.
I have searched google for cross reference and come up empty. On a lot of dirt bikes and 4 wheelers they have air filters that you are to wash either with a filter cleaner or gas and then you spray them down with a light oil and then wring them out until they have no extra oil in them and the oil helps filter the dirt out of the air heading into the engine. . Near the end of last year, the only way for it to fire was the have full choke, and full throttle, and the engine bogged down and you had to keep on throttle for 25mins. The only thing I lost during the process was the screw that holds the airbox cover in place. There appears to be little to no compression, based on this.
Sometime during then, I managed to break the exhaust right before the muffler. I checked the airbox, and the air filter isn't for this quad, it also is barely sucking air. I jumped in put the truck in neutral and ran to the garage to get tools to disconnect the battery. I recently finished cleaning up an old barn find Quadrunner 230 Shaft drive.
