Passengers, especially those in the rear, may feel cramped. Standard safety features on all 1-Series cars include run-flat tires with an air pressure monitor, stability control, four-wheel anti-lock brakes with dynamic brake control and brake drying, adaptive brake lights, dual-stage front air bags, front seat-mounted side-impact air bags, programmable daytime running lights, and more. I was looking at 335's and G37's until a dealer had me test drive a 135. It gets compliments and stares, another nice bonus. As in the 3-series, the 12-way-adjustable front seats of the Sport package are some of the best in the automotive world, straddling a difficult balance between long-haul comfort and back-road-terrorizing support, and even our tall guys found plenty of space.
