I was about to hit a car in front of me on the freeway while I was driving 70 mph and never beeped! I'm pretty handy, and know my way around a car pretty well, but automatics just scare the crap out of me. The automatic transmission will not easily shift into second gear and reverse gear does not function at all. I know the family they are really good people. May as well just replace them, I have had both done by 85,000 miles.
Cruise control would work intermittently and recently has ceased to function at all. They denied the claim saying there was no oil in the engine and blamed us for not servicing the vehicle properly. This is especially true in cases where the internal damage is in the components that create 3rd or 4th gear. Possibly more if you drive it until it stops. After starting my vehicle it did not have reverse and after getting it out of the ramp it would not shift into 2nd gear. Each one of the above conditions has a specific cause and in the next sections, we'll explore this a bit more in-depth. Neither a consumer nor a dealer would be aware by looking with the naked eye, but it should be honored as a repair from the warranty company.
If not, just check the level, add if needed or if it's ok take it to a transmision shop because there may be something wrong.
